Turkey Burger

Ground turkey is the healthiest choice of meat. Turkey has more protein and less fat and cholesterol over any other type of meat. When you reduce the fat in your diet you reduce the chance of heart disease and becoming obese.
Ground turkey is a great alternative to ground beef in any meal. If a recipe calls for a pound of ground beef, switch it out with a pound of ground turkey instead. Not only does this meat have a great taste but the health rewards are countless.

From time to time, The Bisbee Grille's featured special of the day will be the Turkey Burger; a ground turkey patty with pepper jack cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion and avocado spread on a soft ciabatta roll. Choice of side

The Unsung Hero

When you praise employees for a job well done, they know that you have noticed their hard work and find their responsibilities to be just as significant as those higher on the corporate ladder.  No matter how large or small the job, remember to praise and show appreciation.

And so it is with Leo who is one of our dishwashers. We took some time to find out a little about him and his job:
The Grille: What is the hardest part of your job?

Leo: It is all pretty much easy.

The Grille: What do you like most about your job?

Leo: The people I work with.

The Grille: If you could have one thing to make your job easier, what would it be?

Leo: A bigger dish washer.

Well, thank you Leo for taking a short break from the hot suds and dirty dishes to share how you feel about working at The Bisbee Grille. And let this serve as a big thank you for your hard work and being the Unsung Hero.

Teusdays Feature at the Bisbee Grille

Today's Feature is the Mushroom Burger. This is made with a marinated Portabella cap, mozzarella cheese, roasted peppers, basil leaf, balsamic vinegar on a soft ciabatta roll with a choice of side.

Bisbee Grille's Daily Featured Dish

Every day the Bisbee Grille has a featured dish of the day, and always is a surprise to the mouth. Such featured dishes can be like the Fresh Fish Sandwich, which is comprised of a beer battered, deep fried North Atlantic Cod; dressed with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce served on a toasted bun. Comes with your choice of side.

Creme Brulee.

Just when you think you could not possibly follow your main course with another fine dish off the menu, let me suggest something that is my favorite light comfort food- the Grille's Creme Brulee. French for "burnt cream", it is a rich custard base topped with a layer of hard caramel, created by gently caramelizing sugar with a open flame source.
In Britain, a version of crème brûlée (known locally as 'Trinity Cream' or 'Cambridge burnt cream') was introduced at Trinity College, Cambridge in 1879 with the college arms "impressed on top of the cream with a branding iron", although some cookbooks claim much earlier British origins for the dessert. Bisbee Grille is considering taking this idea to their kitchen

What Makes The Bisbee Grille Great

It all starts here, in the heat of the kitchen, where Carlos "Booya", David, Joanquin, and Fred, take their direction from chef Karina, then man the cooking area when the orders come in. It's a combination of skill, collaboration between cooks, and making sure the final touches makes the appearance tantalizing to the customers eye. On days during the monsoon season, when it stops raining and the sun comes out, it can feel like a sauna. On days during the month of June, its just hot.

Order Up!

After the cooks have finished their part, they notify the waitress/waiter staff, who prepare it for taking out. This may include preparing certain garnishes or sauces for dishes. There are other tasks like getting salads or sides of the meal, too many to mention
.

Ready, Set, Go!

When all is done, it is time for the waitress/waiter to take the tray to the table. This is amazing to watch, the strength and balance it takes to hoist these trays over their shoulders, to dodge other staff coming through the swinging kitchen door, then gently setting it down on the guests table. All of this depends on the teamwork between staff; and you can see it in action from the employees of The Bisbee Grille. And don't forget the dishwasher, all can come to a standstill if you don't have a hard working, efficient dishwasher.

So when you come to The Bisbee Grille, know that we strive to be the best, and bring you our highest standard of quality.
